Alas, I haven't. I just went to wave.google.com on the off chance the email vanished into the ether and it had actually gone thru, but it says

Your Google Account has

and goes on to say

Google Wave is currently in a limited preview. Request an invitation.

I had requested one from them before I found this forum and posted here. My wife hasn't received one either, so not sure what's up.

That being said, unfortunately we just got word yesterday that the whole Haiti thing was being canceled because the group that was loaning the $10K for the venue was concerned over lack of support from the community and didn't want to risk not being able to make it back. Very very disappointing after all the work that has gone into this and all the donors willing to offer items for auction. There may still be some hope of resurrection, but the immediacy I had for a collaborative portal isn't what it was a few days ago. Would still love to check out Wave though, now that it's been on my mind and so I'm ready next time. Thanks for the link to the primer. I'll definitely be reading it once I have access.


After some further reading I found this:
Are you trying to sign in with Google Apps? It's not yet possible to add Google Wave to a Google Apps account. You'll need to use another existing Google Account or create a new one.

I realize Wave isn't part of Apps, but that sounds like it's saying if I use apps at all with my account, I can't use Wave.

That is very strange? You are definitely on the list of people I have invited and you should have got an invitation that should give you access to Wave. With regards to the Google apps, that is strange - I just read that too here - if you want, you can create a new email and I'll be more than happy to add you on that email - not sure if you want two emails though!

That is very sad to hear. I do hope they re-consider, hopefully it was just a moment of weakness and doubt. Hope they can get through it.

I just received an invite in email 60 seconds ago from then. Not sure if that's you but I haven't asked anyone else for an invite. If it was, seems turn around time may now be on the order of several days. Thanks again.
